THE FOUNDER

Trained in architecture. Led by instinct.

Iris Ledesma founded the studio on the belief that the spaces we inhabit and the objects we keep should carry lasting meaning. Her practice moves between scales —from full residential architecture to a handmade espresso set— without ever losing the thread of intention that connects them.

Her architectural training at the University of Florida and RISD shaped a rigorous approach to form, material, and detail. Her work is defined not by a single aesthetic, but by a process: one that begins with structure and ends only when every last detail is resolved.

STRUCTURE FIRST

Every project begins with the bones. Spatial intelligence and design precision define every subsequent decision. Get the structure right and everything else follows.

MATERIAL HONESTY

Clay, stone, wood. We name things specifically because materials have character. We never specify vague finishes — what goes into a space or an object should be chosen with full knowledge of what it is.

TIMELESS OVER TRENDY

We do not design for the moment. A space should feel as considered in fifteen years as it does on installation day. An object should still be worth keeping long after the season that produced it has passed.

COHESION AS CRAFT
