A composition of nine wheel-thrown stoneware forms exploring variations in surface, tone, and finish. Glossy, matte, and tactile textures create contrast across the installation, while the dimensional forms cast shifting shadows throughout the day.
Each piece is individually thrown and finished by hand, resulting in subtle variations unique to the work.
Set: 9 individual wall-mounted forms
Material: Stoneware clay

Finish: Mixed glazed, matte + textured finishes

Most homes are designed in pieces. An architect hands off to a decorator, who shops for objects someone else made. That is where a space starts to feel assembled.
Here, the ceramics are drawn into the 3D plans while the rooms are still on paper. Seventeen years of practice, one point of view.
