POLICIES & TERMS

How we make, ship, and stand behind every piece and every project.

Pava Atelier works across architecture, interiors, and handmade ceramics. The policies below cover our Living Art collection, custom commissions, and design services, followed by the terms for using this website. If anything here is unclear, write to us at hello@pavaatelier.com.

SECTION 1: Living Art Orders

Made by hand. Every Living Art piece is handmade in small batches. Glaze, tone, and form will vary slightly from piece to piece and from what you see on screen. These variations are part of the work. They are not defects.

Placing an order. All orders are placed through pavaatelier.com. We don't accept orders or payment through direct messages or email.

Payment. Payment is due in full at checkout. We accept major credit cards and Shop Pay. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. The price at checkout is the price you pay.

Availability. Quantities are limited. If a piece sells out after your order is placed, we'll contact you and offer a full refund or a made-to-order replacement.

SECTION 2: Shipping

Processing time. In-stock pieces ship within [3–5] business days. Made-to-order pieces ship within [4–6] weeks. Your timeline is shown at checkout and confirmed by email.

Where we ship. We currently ship within the United States via [carrier]. A tracking number is sent once your order leaves the studio.

Packing. Every piece is wrapped and packed by hand in the studio to travel safely.

Damaged in transit. If a piece arrives damaged, email hello@pavaatelier.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the piece and the packaging. Please keep all packaging until we respond. We'll send a replacement or issue a full refund.

Lost packages. Once a package is marked delivered, we can't be responsible for loss or theft. If tracking hasn't updated in [7] days, contact us and we'll work with the carrier.

SECTION 3: Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

Returns. Because each piece is made by hand in limited quantities, all sales are final. We don't accept returns or exchanges, except for items that arrive damaged (see Shipping).

Cancellations. In-stock orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Made-to-order pieces can't be cancelled once production has started.

If something isn't right. Write to us. We read every message and will do what we reasonably can.

SECTION 4: Custom Commissions

Availability. We take a limited number of custom ceramic commissions each season. Start with an inquiry at hello@pavaatelier.com describing the piece, the space it's for, and your timeline.

Deposit. Work begins once the commission agreement is signed and a 50% deposit is received. The deposit is non-refundable once work has started. The balance is due before the piece ships.

Approvals. We share sketches and, when relevant, glaze or clay samples before production. Changes after approval may affect the price and timeline.

Final sale. Custom pieces are made for you alone and can't be returned or exchanged.

SECTION 5: Design Services

Architecture, interior design, and creative consulting projects are governed by a written agreement signed before work begins. That agreement sets the scope, timeline, fees, payment schedule, and revision terms for your project. If anything on this page conflicts with your signed agreement, the agreement takes priority.

Consultations. Initial consultations are billed at $300. Consultation fees are [credited toward your project if you move forward].

Payments. Projects follow the payment schedule in your agreement. Work pauses if a payment is more than 14 days late.

Third-party costs. Furniture, materials, contractors, and permit fees are billed separately from design fees unless your agreement says otherwise. Orders placed with vendors on your behalf follow those vendors' return policies.

Project images. Pava Atelier may photograph completed projects for its portfolio and social media. We never share your address or personal details. If you'd prefer your project stay private, tell us in writing.

SECTION 6: Care & Use

Hand wash with warm water and mild soap. Dry fully before storing.

Unless noted in product description, all ceramic objects are microwave and dishwasher safe. Pieces marked decorative are not intended for food or drink.

Handmade ceramics change with use. Small shifts in surface and tone over time are expected and part of the piece's character.
