Inspired by the quiet geometry of a bulb, the Bulb Cortado Set is shaped around a softly rounded vessel that gently narrows toward its opening. A low, circular saucer extends the form, creating a simple composition of curved volumes.
Exposed clay gives each piece a tactile, earthy character, while the glazed interior and upper edge introduce a smooth, reflective contrast. Wheel-thrown and finished by hand, subtle variations in form, texture and glaze are inherent to each piece.
Designed with the cortado in mind, Bulb is equally suited to sake, tea, or other small pours—balancing everyday function with sculptural form.
Each piece is individually thrown and finished by hand, resulting in subtle variations unique to the work.
